Privacy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy covers every game published by Bitmoth: Stardust Gatherer, Sudoku Pop and Sinking Cars. It also covers future Bitmoth games unless their own page says otherwise.

Who we are

Bitmoth is an independent game studio. For anything about this policy or your data, email support@bitmoth.gg.

The short version

  • Our games have no accounts and no sign-up.
  • Our games don't send your personal data to us. We don't run analytics, and we don't sell data.
  • Your progress is saved on your iPhone.
  • Purchases and leaderboards are handled by Apple.
  • Stardust Gatherer and Sinking Cars offer optional video ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some data to deliver those ads, as explained below. Sudoku Pop has no ads.

Data that stays on your iPhone

Your progress, settings, stats and Premium status are stored on your iPhone by the game. They are never sent to us.

  • Deleting a game deletes its data.
  • Restoring your iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup may bring that data back.
  • Every game has Reset progress in its Settings.

Apple services

In-App Purchase. When you buy Premium, Apple processes the payment. We never see your payment details, your name or your Apple ID. The game only learns whether you own Premium.

Game Center (Sudoku Pop and Sinking Cars). If you're signed in to Game Center, your scores are sent to Apple and shown on leaderboards with your Game Center nickname. Game Center is run by Apple. You can sign out or change your profile in the Settings app under Game Center.

Notifications. Daily reminders are scheduled on your iPhone itself. No notification server is involved. You can turn them off in the game's Settings or in the Settings app under Notifications.

Sharing. When you tap Share, the iOS share sheet sends the text and image you see to the app you choose. We don't receive any of it.

Advertising (Stardust Gatherer and Sinking Cars)

These games offer optional rewarded videos: you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward. There are no banner ads and no pop-up ads. Players with Premium never see ads, and no ads are requested for them.

The ads are provided by Google AdMob. When an ad is requested or shown, Google may collect information such as your device type and settings, information about the app, your IP address (which can indicate your approximate location), the ads you see and how you interact with them, and diagnostic data. Google uses this to deliver and measure ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and prevent fraud.

  • No cross-app tracking. Our games never ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, so Apple's advertising identifier is not available to us or to Google.
  • Consent. Where the law requires it, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent form before any ad is requested. If you don't consent to personalised ads, any ads you see are not personalised.
  • Changing your choice. Open the game's Settings and tap Privacy choices. The row appears wherever the law requires it.

This website

bitmoth.gg has no sign-up forms, accounts, analytics or advertising. Like any website, our hosting provider may record basic technical information about visits, such as IP address, browser type and time of visit, to keep the site running and secure. This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts; when your browser fetches them, Google may receive your IP address and basic request information. See Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Children

Our games are suitable for a general audience but are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child's information has been collected through one of our games, email us and we'll help.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or California law), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to how it's used. Because our games don't send personal data to us, most requests are handled where the data actually is:

  • Game progress on your iPhone: delete the game, or use Reset progress in its Settings.
  • Ads: use Privacy choices in the game's Settings, or Google's tools at https://myadcenter.google.com
  • Game Center and purchases: Apple, through the Settings app or https://privacy.apple.com

If you need help with any of these, email us. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
